Screen studio review: screen recording software

Simple idea executed brilliantly.

Screen studio is a screen recording software with a focus on simplicity and beauty.

Is it any good?

Yes. It’s the best screen recording app I’ve used so far, and it’s mainly because of the simplicity and impressive UX. As a person who’s not well versed in video editing, everything is very intuitive and easy. There is just enough customization to make me feel in control without feeling overwhelmed.

The video automatically comes out with nice animations and removes all other distractions from the frame.

Is it worth it?

Debatable. It costs $89 for a single license, which is quite pricey compared to its competitors. While the UX and UI outcompetes its competitors, the price is just a little steep. For clarity, Loom (competitor) offers a free tier that works for the average person. If your job requires screen recordings, then I would say that the $89 is fair.

If you got the money, it’s worth it. If you’re cheap like me, Loom should do the trick. Hope I saved you a bit of time. Make sure to subscribe if you want more 1 minute reads like this.
